This week in Mrs. Long's Class

This week in our class has been a very busy week. We are still learning about the various habitat's that are found in Georgia, with a focus on marshes and swamps. The students really enjoyed looking at photos of Georgia's own Okefenokee Swamp at http://www.okefenokee.com/. We are also jumping into Multiplication this week by using the grouping and array method. Our class is still reading "Mr. Popper's Penguins," this week we are on chapters 13-15. We will have a test this week on the Branches of Government, there will be a study guide sent home on Thursday. Please make sure that the students are doing their homework every night.
